Van and Allyson surprised us…well I guess I should say Van did. Van is a Major in the U.S. Marines and has had one of the coolest jobs in my opinion…flying the President’s Marine One Helicopter! Knowing that, and hearing him over the phone, he seemed to be a “no non-sense”, straight to the point kinda guy. Well, even though he had to get used to all the photogs and video cameras making him smile, Allyson and Van cracked us up all day with their incredible personalities and very apparent love for each other. I mean, how can you not love a couple that “fist bumps” when they are proclaimed husband and wife!? Couldn’t have asked for better weather during this outdoor wedding in the middle of thousands of roses and we had an awesome time filming the party. Some of the best dancing (and “dance offs”) I have seen in a while. Casey, Angie and Kristen with Poiema Photography also rocked the house and were a pleasure to work with.
