Congo Cast Ep. #12

congocast logo

It went up a while ago on itunes and the main site, but for those who might have missed it, Episode #12 of CongoCast is live and it’s a good one! Well, I shouldn’t say that. It wasn’t too fun for Wendy, as she gets attacked by 3 deadly illnesses all at the same time, having to return to the hospital for the 2nd time. It’s a powerful story of sacrifice and shows the real physical danger these women chose to face all in for the sake of spreading the love of Christ to women, children and families who have been torn apart by rape, hunger, and war. This episode was a great one to get people interested in what is happening – and a great entry to the podcast as it recaps much of what Wendy and Robin did when they arrived in Congo.

CongoCast Episode No. 11

Episode 11 is now live. You can view the video below or visit www.Congocast.org. This episode really gets to the heart of the matter with the women in Congo. Focusing on a group of women, their interviews reveal a HARSH reality into what has happened to them, and the restoration that needs to take place. We have some exciting news coming up in the next few months about the future of this documentary. Evan Vetter and Port City Church are working on some awesome plans to get this message out in a powerful way. Stay tuned.

New CongoCast – Episode #10

congocast logo

If you follow our blog, you know I am helping out (as much as I can) with the CongoCast, a documentary podcast following the story of 2 women from our church, Port City Community Church, into the war-torn country of Congo. Episode #10 is now live. It’s about the health of the children at the Ponzi feeding center. Although it hurts to see these children in such conditions, you can’t help but smile and laugh when you watch them play “Simon Says”.You can view it below. For more information on the mission of Congocast and past episodes just in case you need to get caught up, go to www.Congocast.org.
