McDance – Rebecca and David’s Unique Special Dance

So far in 2011 we at Lifestage have been lucky enough to work with some great couples and to experience some wonderful weddings.  We have also seen our share of funny moments, outtakes, and unique interesting touches.  Part of Rebecca and David’s wedding definitely feel into the unique category.

After all the events of the reception ended and it was time to have fun and dance the night away our filmmakers were surpirsed when the crowd started to roar and look towards the door.  Through all the laughter and cheers it was hard to see what was going on but once the crowd parted Zach & Matt could only see one thing…McDonalds.  You will see what I mean.  We were Lovin’ It.

Life Stage’s Amy & Zach had the privilege of filming a beautiful Figure 8 Island wedding full of smiles, laughter, and joy.  Chris & Kathryn’s wedding was definitely an outstanding event.  Thanks to the kindness of their family and the professionalism of their vendors the whole day went like clockwork.  Amy & Zach had a blast filming the entire day from both families getting ready to dancing the night away.  They joked that Chris & Kathryn’s love was so strong that it almost broke the lenses on their cameras :D.  We definitely got to see that during editing too.  It was so much fun to blend their individual styles into one film and it was hard not to smile while going through the footage.  Every shot had either a great laugh, a huge smile, or some beautiful detail that just popped through the screen. Chris & Kathryn are such a sweet upbeat couple and it is so easy to tell how much joy they have in their heart.  From the point that Kathryn walked down the aisle to the end of the night they couldn’t stop laughing with such childlike giddiness.

This wedding was so wonderfully put together and made Amy & Zach’s job a lot less stressful.  All of us would like to say a big thank you to wedding planner Grace Beason for planning Chris and Kathryn’s big day and making it run so smoothly.  Also shout out to Jennifer Mitchell at Figure 8 Yacht Club for all the delicious food.

Lastly a HUGE THANK YOU to Chris & Kathryn from all of us at Life Stage Films for being so easy to work with and for trusting us with one of the most important days of their lives.

Cheers!

The Life Stage Films team recently finished and mailed Austin & Melissa’s DVDs.  Their  beautiful sunny fun wedding day down at Ocean Isle Beach was such a joy to both shoot and edit.  The LSF Team put a lot of time, effort, and care into making Austin & Melissa’s perfect wedding film and apparently we succeeded.  Austin & Melissa got their DVDs the other day and immediately told us what they thought.

Check out these kind words Melissa gave us about her final product and her Life Stage Films experience:

About the final product:  “I thought the packaging was great! I had anticipated the DVD’s not coming until April. I was off work the day it arrived and had no idea what it was. I had planned a nice romantic meal for Austin that night, so when I got the DVD’s it was like the icing on the cake. It was perfect. I loved the popcorn and the hand written note. It was very personable.”

About the wedding day: “I loved Amy she was amazing. I didnt get to spend much time with Zach, but the guys seemed to really like him.  Amy was very open and aware of things that we spoke about. It felt very comforting to share that time with her.”

About the final film: “I loved to be able to see what the guys were doing while I was going crazy getting ready, haha.”  ”Austin has watched the video twice, his dad watched it 2 or 3 times, and his mom has watched it four times; each time with a different person. I just gave my mom her copy tonight and she is watching it as we speak. I have only watched it once, but will be watching it again tonight.  Everyone has raved about what an amazing job you did. This was a part of our wedding that Austin and I bickered about in the beginning, but it was something I didnt want to give up on and stood my ground, but after Austin watched it, he said, “You were right”.

All of us at Life Stage films are thrilled we could make Austin and Melissa so happy and that we could give them something to cherish for the rest of their lives.

Life Stage Films would like to give a big THANK YOU to Austin & Melissa. We look forward to keeping up with you guys as friends. :D
