St. Simons Island, GA
Arguably one of our most favorite places to film in the coastal south is Sea Island Resort, off of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Angela, B.C. and their families came down from Boston and NE U.S. and put together a stellar team of wedding vendors. We got to work with some of our favorites, and some of the best in the South. Laura Negri Photography, out of Atlanta, is always a team player and a joy to work with, and Party on the Moon rocked the HOUSE the entire night. But let’s talk about Angela, B.C. and some context behind their story in this film. What I enjoy most about filming an event like a wedding, is that I get to see things from both perspectives. Angela and B.C. did not see each other before the wedding, but it’s so cool to see how each of them spent their time that morning, and whether or not they were nervous/excited. :) Both of them got each other gifts, as you can see in the film, and both were equally impressed. B.C. was given a watch he had been wanting for a long time, and so it was cool to see him where both watches (his other one meant a lot to him as well). Angela was treated with shiny new earrings, but she was just as excited about reading the card which read “To the future Angela J. Tieste”. Very cool.
Did anyone catch how breathtaking the Cloister Garden at Sea Island was for the ceremony?! And what you may not know, is that Angela and B.C. surprised ALL their guests, even their parents, with a performance by an amazing local gospel choir. The feeling is that garden was surreal. Very unique wedding indeed. Everything, from the heartfelt toasts, to the choreographed first dance, to the amazing cake and fireworks exit, this wedding was a spectacular event.
Angela and B.C., it was a pleasure to witness your amazing day, and capture what we did. One of our favorites for sure!
